Cover letters are important; please make cover letters concise. Please include a brief one-page summary of your organization, a brief summary of the project you want funded and the amount of the request. The cover letter is the one piece the Board of Directors always sees. If it is too long, they lose interest. |

The Special Program Grant funds program-specific requests, not requests for operating or capital funding. You must outline a program with identifiable objectives, timeline, outcomes and budget. The budget for the whole program should not be larger than $100,000 (higher funding levels tend to indicate that the request is for operating funding).
